Christian Canderan was born in Spilimbergo, Italy (Pordenone) on January 17th 1978.

He lives in Meduno a small town in the Friulan pre-Alps, in Nord-East. He is an author, producer and film director. He graduated from the Faculty of Arts and Letters of the University of Bologna in 2002 majoring in  Arts, Music, Theatre and Cinema Department.

Since 2003 he has been an independent film-maker specializing in shorts and documentaries.  

In 2005 he founded the label “Sunfilms” through which he developed many institutional, commercial and documentary videos as well as some fiction films.  Many of his works have received both national and international recognitions. From 2008 his works has been developed in various national Televisions and in over 40.000 DVDs.

His films have been shown in various events related to the Made in Italy, from Rome to Milan, from Paris to New York, from Brazil to Australia, gaining important acclaim from the public and critics.
